Trail Rides
The new Staunton bypass loop (VA Rt 262) is now open. The old VA Rt 275 has been renamed VA Rt 262.
From the North: From I-81, take Exit 225 (exits are numbered
according to mile number) onto VA Rt 262 west for 5 miles to the Rt 250 (Churchville Ave) exit.
Go west (right) onto Rt 250.
From the South: From I-81, take Exit 220 (exits are numbered
according to mile number)onto VA Rt 262 for 6.6 miles to the Rt 250 (Churchville Ave) exit.
Go west (left) onto Rt 250.
From the East: I-64 will run into I-81 just before Staunton, VA, after crossing
the Blue Ridge at Afton. Take I-81 south for 0.2 miles and take Exit 220 onto VA Rt 262 for 6.6 miles to the Rt 250 (Churchville Ave) exit.
Go west (left) onto Rt 250.
From the West: I-64 will run into I-81 at Lexington, VA. Take I-81 north to Exit 220
(exits are numbered according to mile number)onto VA Rt 262 for 6.6 miles to the Rt 250
(Churchville Ave) exit. Go west (left) onto Rt 250.
Follow Rt 250 for 16 miles (through Churchville, gas and grocery store on right just
past downtown). Turn south (left) onto Deerfield Valley Road, VA Rt 629 at
Mountain View Market and gas (last gas before Deerfield, propane, ice, supplies available).
Go 7.6 miles on Rt 629 and turn left onto Marble Valley Road, VA Rt 600. Proceed
0.1 mile to the Deerfield Community Building on right.
