Deerfield Valley Trail Ride
Rules for the Camp and Trail
- The management reserves the right to evict unruly horses or campers with no refund.
- All juniors (under 18) must wear approved helmets with chin strap attached and must ride with an adult. Juniors may not ride stallions.
- No bareback riding, no riding double and no ponying a second horse.
- No horses are to be left unattended in camp.
- The management of this ride assumes no responsibility for damage or injury caused by you to the National
Forest or any other National Forest user.
- Horses are not permitted to drink from stock tanks; dip water out with your bucket.
- After the ride, all horses are confined to the owners camp except for bathing.
- NO DOGS on the trail. All dogs in camp must be leashed and are confined to the owners camp site.
- NO SMOKING on the trail. Please be considerate, we will be in remote areas where a fire would be very serious.
- When passing on the trail, ask permission before passing and be prepared to stop if asked. Do not pass faster than a controlled trot.
- No generators to be run or loud noise after 11 p.m.
- Stay on the marked trails; ride only on the trail for that day. Sign yourself in and out each day.
- Nonriders fee is the same as for a rider.
- Everyone is expected to have a good time!
